Later, these magnificent pieces of art were used as refuges by early Christians and transformed into churches and monasteries in 300–1200 AD. The area attracts tourists with hot-air ballooning, which allows them to enjoy the outstanding landscapes at sunrise.
Pamukkale is another natural wonder of Turkey.
Translated as "cotton castle", this place is prominent for its white terraces and pools with thermal spring water.
